  • Even though I only got to know you for 4 days, it was some awsome 4 days. I don't think it hit me till now that I will never see yah again. At first word I couldn't believe it, but that open casket...   proved to me you were actually gone. I was looking forward to this summer. Asian camp, some more winter confrences, teaching little kids. It was too short. Why now God? Why him? He only made people laugh, smile and feel comfortable. A great friend, person, and man. Wish I could've told you all this. The time I thought I had vanished... I will miss you bud. Everyone that knew you will miss you.

    Rest In Peace Andy Panyanouvath.

The World baseball classic came and went. I thought it was a real awsome spectacle. Not as big as the Olypmics, but a much better tournament than I ever expected. One thing that made it sooo great was that JAPAN WON!!!! After losing twice (in super close games) to Korea diminished my hopes of a title, but when the US lost to Mexico I knew we had a chance. The crowds and venues were amazing as well. Maybe not the first rounds here, but in Tokyo when Japan played Korea, and practically every game in Puerto Rico the atmosphere was electrifying. And then final rounds in Cali. People thought it would be a bust, like steinbrener but it was amazing.

  • I HAte it so much when they run reals on espn or king5 on who won what in the olympics before they air on tv, or I go to espn.com and theres a huge post saying "oh no Ohno slips". gheyyy. Before I watched I already knew ohno fell at one point in his road to defend his 1500m gold, and shawn and kass won medals, but I didn't WANT TO KNOW THISS.  I mean why show who wins on king5 before they even show the event.
But the first weekend was real tite. awsomeness to curt hedrick and shawn white and danny kass for thier medals. I feel bad for michelle kwan and apallo ono though, especially for kwan... shes cool, and i wanted to watch her skate And ono was sooo close to the finish to make it to the finals.

But the surprises and stories are the things that make the olympics, and I love the olympics, i hope they don't mess up my studying to much
